Ingredients
Purple sweet potato, risen noodles (appropriate amount) | Hot milk or warm water, honey or sugar, ( appropriate amount ) |
How to make purple sweet potato rolls

1.Peel and wash purple sweet potatoes and set aside

2.Cut into thin slices and place on a plate, steam in a steamer (steam for 10 minutes)

3.Take out the steamed purple sweet potato and put it into a bowl and mash it into purple sweet potato puree
(After the purple sweet potato puree is made, you can add an appropriate amount of hot milk or warm water to prevent the purple sweet potato puree from drying out., if you add milk, the steamed flower rolls will have a milky aroma, which is also good; if you like a sweeter taste, you can add an appropriate amount of white sugar or honey to the purple sweet potato puree)
4.Take out the dough that has risen in advance

5.Knead it into a smooth dough, put it in a basin and let it rise for 10 minutes

6. After 10 minutes, take out a portion of the dough and roll it into a square shape
(Do not roll it too thin)
7.Use the back of a spoon to apply the purple sweet potato puree
(Don’t apply the purple sweet potato puree too thickly. When applying the purple sweet potato puree, apply it as lightly as possible without pressing, otherwise the steamed curls will become hard)
8.After coating, roll it up from one side and roll it into a cylindrical shape

9. Cut the rolled cylindrical shape into uniform pieces, gently roll into a cylindrical shape, cover with plastic wrap and let rise for 10 Minutes

10.Put in the steamer, steam for 15 minutes, simmer for 5 minutes and take out

11.Plate and ready to eat
Tips
I have already noted which steps need to be paid attention to, so I won’t go into details here.I like the original flavor, so I only add warm water to the purple sweet potato puree. The disadvantage is that I rolled the dough a little thin, so some parts of the flower roll look transparent.
