How to make steamed buns

1.Put 500 grams of flour into a basin, sprinkle in 5 grams of yeast powder, mix with warm water

3.When it is halfway through, knead it again and continue to ferment for half an hour

4.Prepare the pork belly I used a meat grinder to grind it, (don’t grind the meat too finely, so it tastes better)

5.Chop white fennel

6.Put an appropriate amount of salt into the container to give it some moisture and squeeze it out

7.Don’t mince the green onions too finely (you can also chop them by hand, but I used a machine to grind them) p>

8.Put all the ingredients into the basin, (put the meat first, and add the prepared seasonings according to your personal taste) Add to the meat and stir evenly, then add the drained fennel white, then add the green onion and stir evenly)

9.After the dough is ready, you can make it.Melt 2 grams of edible alkali with warm or boiling water, pour it into the fermented dough and knead it evenly.Then take it out and knead it evenly on a eucalyptus board and knead it into long and thin strips., cut into small pieces of the same size

10.Knead like this and wake up for another five minutes

11.Then roll it into a thick skin in the middle and thin on both sides

12. Start making the buns.Don’t place the buns too close together to prevent them from sticking.Just one finger apart

13. Place the wrapped buns aside and let them rise for ten minutes

14. After the water boils, start steaming.Once the steam comes up, calculate the time.Steam for 25 minutes.After 25 minutes, turn off the heat and simmer for another five minutes.

Tips
Don’t make the meat filling of buns too shredded, but the meat filling of dumplings can be shredded.This way each tastes good.The longer the steamed buns are cooked, the more delicious they will be (but not too long, up to 20 minutes)
