How to make fermented white fungus and papaya soup

1. Soak the fungus for six hours in advance and prepare the red bean honey, taro balls, fermented glutinous rice and papaya..

2.Chop the white fungus into as many pieces as possible.

3. Boil the taro balls in boiling water for three minutes before taking them out and setting them aside.

4. Cut the papaya into small pieces.

5. Put red bean honey, taro balls, fermented glutinous rice, papaya, and white fungus into a large bowl , add appropriate amount of water.

6. Stir the ingredients evenly and add seven or eight pieces of rock sugar.

7.Put it into a steamer, steam over high heat for 20 minutes, then reduce to low heat for 20 minutes.

8.Turn off the heat and simmer for another ten minutes.It's time to cook.

9.A bowl of stewed fermented rice fungus and papaya soup is ready.
Tips
Try not to use a large glass bowl when steaming, as this can easily cause accidents (steaming and frying directly).The steamed papaya is crispy and not soft, and tastes better than boiled papaya.
