Recipe of Beef Stew with Carrots and Potatoes
1. Cut the beef into pieces, add cold water to the pot, add cooking wine, boil the water enough and cook for 5 to 10 minutes, remove and set aside

2.Cut potatoes, carrots and tomatoes into cubes and set aside

3.Cut the green onion, slice the ginger, stir-fry in the oil pan with the peppercorns and star anise for half a minute, add the beef and stir-fry for two to three minutes

4.Put tomatoes into the pot and stir-fry for two minutes, add light soy sauce

5.Add boiling water, bring to a boil over high heat, add an appropriate amount of salt (according to your own taste), turn to low heat and simmer for one hour

6.Add carrots and simmer for half an hour, then add potatoes

7.The potatoes are ready to be stewed (the stewing time can be adjusted according to your own taste)
