White radish: reduce phlegm
Ingredients
Ox tail bone ( 1/2 piece, about 1200 grams ) | White radish ( 1 root ) |
Cooking wine ( 10ml ) | Ginger ( 6 grams ) |
Green peppercorns ( 1 pinch ) | Cilantro ( 1 plant ) |
Wolfberry ( 5g ) | Salt ( 3g ) |
Clean water ( appropriate amount ) | Green onions ( 1 tree ) |
Recipe of stewed radish with ox tail bone

1.Prepare the main ingredients.

2. Cut the green onion into sections and slice the ginger into two parts.

3. Add enough water to the pot, add half of the ginger slices, a few pieces Slice green onions, add green peppercorns and cooking wine at the same time.

4.Put in the washed ox tail bones.

5. Bring to a boil over high heat and cook for about 3 minutes.

6. Remove the ox tail bones and rinse them with warm water to remove any scum on the surface.

7.In another pot, add the ox tail bone, remaining ginger slices and green onion slices , add enough water.

8.Bring to a boil over high heat and use a spoon to skim off the foam on the surface.

9. Cover and simmer over low heat for about 2 hours.

10.Peel the radish and cut into large pieces.(Perfectionists can blanch the radish in boiling water to remove the strong flavor)

11. Wash cilantro Cut into clean sections.

12. Add the radish and continue to simmer for about 30 minutes.

13.Add salt to taste.

14. Take out of the pot and sprinkle with wolfberry and coriander.
Tips
1.Ox tail bones are generally sold whole in the market.For larger portions, they can be stewed in two times.
2.After blanching the ox tail bones, use warm water to rinse away the foam attached to the surface to ensure that the soup has no peculiar smell.
3.The stewing time has a certain relationship with the size of the bones.If you are in a hurry, you can use a pressure cooker for about 25 minutes.
