How to make Braised Pork Ribs and Potatoes

1. Spare ribs cold water Turn on the heat, blanch until the water boils for two minutes and then take it out.

2. Prepare garlic, ginger slices, star anise, a bottle of beer, and a bowl of boiling water.

3. Heat oil in a pot, add a spoonful of sugar to the cold oil, and add the ribs when it turns caramel color.

4. Stir-fry the ribs evenly, add garlic, ginger and star anise and continue to stir-fry.

5. Stir-fry until the ribs are coloured, add dark soy sauce and stir-fry until coloured.

6. After the ribs are colored, pour in a bottle of beer and a bowl of boiling water.The amount of water is about the same.It is twice as much as the pork ribs.After boiling, add in the taste, oyster sauce and sugar.Reduce heat and simmer for twenty minutes.

7. While stewing the ribs, wash and peel the potatoes, cut into small pieces and set aside.Simmer the ribs for about twenty minutes and put the potatoes in.

8. The potatoes will be very cooked in about 15 minutes.If there is a lot of water, just reduce the juice over high heat.

9.After putting it on the plate, sprinkle some coriander for decoration.
Tips
Beer-braised pork ribs not only removes the fishy smell of the meat, but the natural cooking wine speeds up the stewing time of the meat and makes the meat softer and more tender.
