How to make Thousand Layer Bread

1.Prepare materials and weigh them for later use! Soften the butter first.

2.First add eggs, salt and sugar and stir.Dilute the yeast with warm milk, let it rest for 10 minutes, add it and stir it into a flocculent form, roll the dough into a ball with your hands and let it rest for 30 minutes.

3. Then, take out the woke noodles, add 15g of butter, knead, rub and stretch , beat out the film.

4. Knead into a smooth dough, ferment it in a warm place until it doubles in size, and press it with your hands.Just retract!

5. Divide the dough into 5 equal parts, round and deflate! Let rest for 10 minutes

6.Then prepare oil paper or plastic wrap, preferably cut according to your own mold A round trip! Mine is an eight-inch chiffon mold.Roll out a round dough piece, place it on the plastic wrap, take out the remaining butter, spread butter on the dough piece to prevent it from sticking, and then roll out the second piece!

7. Repeat the above action, roll it into a ball and apply butter!

8.All the dough pieces overlap, and there is no need to apply butter on the top layer!

9. Use a knife to make a cross in the middle and divide it into eight equal parts.Don't cut off the edges!

10. Pull out the eight corners respectively!

11. Use a knife to make a hole in the middle of each corner, and then pass the corner inward., pull it out, and this is the current effect!

12. Pull all the corners inward and place them neatly! (Because the knife I used was not sharp enough, the result was ugly)

13.Cover to keep fresh Place the membrane in the oven to ferment until it doubles in size, and place a plate of hot water underneath!

14. Fermentation mold is full, and the surface is brushed with egg liquid!

15. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees in advance.I baked it at 150 degrees for 30 minutes, but the color was too It’s so deep that it needs to be covered with tin foil!
Tips
The milk in the bread can be replaced by water. The water is not fixed and can be increased or decreased according to the individual flour's water absorption properties. When kneading the dough, if it feels dry, put some water on your hands and add water little by little, because when kneading the dough and the weather is a bit hot, the water will evaporate too quickly! Check whether the dough is soft or hard and add water appropriately.
