How to make coconut bread sticks

1.First we are going to make the coconut filling.Soften the butter at room temperature, add the caster sugar and stir evenly, add the egg liquid and stir evenly.Add milk again and mix well. Finally add grated coconut and mix well and set aside.

2.I used a bread machine to mix it here.Except for the butter, mix all the dough ingredients together, add the butter when the mix is 10 minutes, and mix until the expansion stage.

3. The dough is fermented until it doubles in size.

4.Take it out.Sprinkle flour on the table and knead the dough with your hands to deflate it.

5.Use a rolling pin to roll the dough into a rectangular shape.

6.Put the coconut filling on the dough sheet, leaving 1/3 uncovered.

7. Stack up.Fold the side without coconut filling first, then fold the other side.

8.Use a rolling pin to roll the dough with coconut filling into a rectangular shape.

9. Cut the dough into several sections.

10.Twist the bread sticks a few times and place them on the baking sheet.

11. can also be like this.

12. Place in the oven to ferment until doubled in size.Remove and brush with egg wash.At this time, the oven is preheated to 180 degrees.

13. Oven at 180 degrees for 20 minutes on the upper and lower floors.Out of the oven.

14.Finished product.

15. Delicious.
Tips
The temperature difference of each oven is different.Adjust the temperature according to your own oven. The temperature of my oven is on the high side. When twisting the bread sticks, they should be pressed firmly to prevent them from turning apart during the fermentation process, but it doesn't matter if they are turned away a little. It will not affect the taste if you eat them at home.
