Ingredients
Glutinous rice flour ( 50g ) | Sticky rice flour ( 50g ) |
Clear noodles ( 30g ) | Milk ( 250ml ) |
White sugar ( 30 grams ) | Purple sweet potato filling ( 240g ) |
Red bean paste ( 240g ) | Oil ( 20g ) |
Snowskin mooncake (red bean paste and purple sweet potato )

1. Ice skin: Weigh all the powder and white sugar into a container, any milk can be used.

2. Add milk and oil to the container and stir evenly to form a batter.Steam for 25 to 30 minutes, let cool and knead into a ball (the fourth step has a picture of the finished product)

3. Prepare the fillings.Steam the purple sweet potatoes and mash them directly to make them very sweet.I fried the bean paste in advance.The making process is in my previous recipe.

4. Knead the trapped material into a ball.

5.Take 20 grams of ice skin and wrap it with 30 grams of trapping material , it is best to form a columnar shape so that it can be easily placed in the mold and compacted to form as follows:

Tips
When steaming ice skin, it is recommended to seal the mouth of the container with plastic wrap to prevent water vapor from entering.
Personally, I think the thinner the ice skin and the more filling, the more delicious it will be.
As long as the ice skin is well wrapped with trapping materials, you can rest assured that the ice skin will generally not break, so it must be compacted.
