Ingredients
Pure milk ( 100ml ) | Carrot ( 1 root ) |
Yeast ( 2 grams ) | Low powder ( 300g ) | White sugar ( 20 grams ) |
How to make carrot buns

1. Prepare flour, peel and wash carrots.

2. Dissolve the yeast with warm water

3.Cut the carrots into small pieces, add milk and stir into puree

4.Pour the carrot puree into the flour

5. Knead into a uniform dough, cover with plastic wrap and wait for fermentation

6. Let the dough ferment until doubled in size , honeycomb shape is enough

7.Take out the fermented dough and deflate it

8.Shape into long strips and cut into the size you like

9. Grease the steaming rack, place the steamed bun embryos on them and wait for them to rise

10. Let stand for 20 to 30 minutes.It can be steamed over medium-low heat for 16 minutes

11.Turn off the heat after steaming, do not immediately Turn on the fire and steam for 5 minutes
Tips
I have failed many times in steaming steamed buns before, but now I know that the key lies in venting and waking up.The exhaust is like rubbing clothes, it will be done quickly, and the longer it takes to rise, the softer it will be.
