Pumpkin puree ( 250g ) | Flour ( 370g ) |
White sugar ( 10 grams ) | Yeast ( 3 pieces ) |
How to make pumpkin steamed buns (one-time fermentation)

1. Wash the pumpkin, peel it and cut into thin slices.

2.Put it into a steamer and steam until cooked.

3.Weigh 250 grams of steamed pumpkin into a bowl and add 10 grams of sugar.

4. Press into pumpkin puree and let cool.

5. Take 370 grams of flour and add 3 grams of yeast and mix well.

6. Mix the yeast well and add pumpkin puree.

7.Use chopsticks to mix into dough.

8.Knead it into a smooth dough with your hands.

9. Divide the dough into six parts.

12. Ferment until the dough doubles in size.

13. Turn to medium heat and steam for 20 minutes.When the time is up, do not Boil the pot immediately to prevent the steamed buns from shrinking and wait three minutes to boil.

Tips
If you are fermenting steamed buns in winter, you can boil the water in the pot to about 40 degrees and then put the steamed bun embryos for fermentation.This can promote the rapid fermentation of the steamed buns.
