Water ( 90g ) | Yeast ( 2g ) |
White sesame seeds ( a little ) | Low-gluten flour ( 180g ) |
Butter ( 20g ) | Salt ( 2 grams ) |
Tahini ( 40g ) | Sugar ( 15g ) |
How to make sesame cakes

1.Put yeast, sugar, and salt into 90 grams of warm water that has been adjusted to 35°C., stir evenly.Then, pour in low-gluten flour and knead it into a dough, then add butter and knead it for 30 minutes.

2. After the dough has fermented, continue to knead it for 2 to 3 minutes, and knead it into a long strip.

3.Use a dough cutter to divide into four sections.

4.Use a rolling pin to roll out the dough into a rectangular shape.

5. Spread with sesame paste.

6. Fold into a roll about 2cm wide.

7. Flatten and elongate.

8.Use a knife to cut into two long strips from the middle.

9. Stretch the long strip again, and follow the fingers to circle and tighten.

10. Place the baking sheet to rest, sprinkle with white sesame seeds, and let it rest for 20 minutes.

11. Preheat the oven to 180℃ for 5 minutes and bake on the middle rack for 25 minutes.
