How to make pumpkin honey bean steamed buns

1.Peel the pumpkin and steam it, add a little water into the juicer cup and squeeze it into pumpkin puree.Add flour, baking powder, yeast powder and sugar.Use it first.Stir well with chopsticks and knead into dough.

2.The kneaded dough is left to rise in a warm place for about half an hour, and becomes honeycomb-shaped.If the hole is poked with your hand and it does not shrink or dent, or if it doubles in size, the fermentation is successful!

3.Knead the risen dough evenly again, divide it into two parts, and roll it into dough.Shape into flakes, sprinkle some honey beans as shown in the picture

4. Stack it from bottom to top, as follows picture.

5. Then stack them from left to right, as shown below

6.Make two in total, roll them out and roll them out slightly thinner.Place in a steamer to rise a second time until doubled in volume.

7. Then steam it for 20 minutes! I use the Zhenmi Technology electric steamer, which can be steamed in less than a minute! (Using an ordinary steamer requires boiling water)

8.After I steamed it for 20 minutes , turn off the heat, and then simmer for another three to five minutes.

9. Take it out and cut it into pieces, it is very soft and sweet.Nutritious and delicious.Min Ruyi’s original work!
Tips
The water content of pumpkin puree is different, so the amount of flour can fluctuate up or down. The final dough should not be too soft. The dough that has fermented just right will not shrink or dent when you poke holes with your fingers.
