Small shrimp and fresh meat Wonton teaches you three ways to make wontons

1.Put the dried shrimps into cold water in advance, add appropriate amount of cooking wine, and soak for about 10 minutes

2. While the shrimps are soaking, chop the meat into small pieces. You can also go directly to the supermarket to buy ready-made minced meat

3.Wash the soaked shrimps and cut each one in the middle

4.Put the minced meat and shrimps into a container, add a spoonful of cooking wine, an appropriate amount of salt, chicken essence, pepper, beat in an egg, stir evenly in one direction with chopsticks, and the filling is ready.

5.Three ways to wrap wontons:
Type 1: Hong Kong-style wontons
Put an appropriate amount of meat filling in the center of the wonton wrapper, then gather the wonton wrapper around the meat filling toward the center, and press it tightly with your fingers
6.Type 2: Yuanbao Wonton
Take an appropriate amount of meat Place the filling in the center of the wonton wrapper, fold the diagonal corners in half, and then fold the other two corners downwards as shown in the picture above to compact. Then flip the wonton wrapper upwards, and press the meat filling part down. You will see it almost looks like a gold ingot
7.Type 3: Clear soup wontons
Put the meat filling on one corner of the wonton wrapper, then hold it and roll it to the other side, as shown in the picture, fold the other two corners in half and press it firmly
8. Boil the water in the pot, add the wrapped wontons, add some shrimp skin and seaweed, and cook for about 10 minutes. The wontons are almost done when they float

9.In the bowl Add some light soy sauce, put in the cooked wontons, add a few drops of sesame oil, sprinkle some coriander, and you're ready to eat
Tips
I used ready-made shrimps directly, which is more convenient, and the wontons made out of it have a stronger texture. If you like the chewy texture, you can also use live shrimps if you don't mind the trouble.
