How to make homemade sweet rice wine

1.I didn’t use glutinous rice.I used the Northeastern rice that I usually eat at home.The method is also the same.Very simple.Cook the rice in the rice cooker, just like normal rice cooking.After cooking, it is okay to take out a little more than a kilogram.Place it in a dustpan and let it cool.Use a rice spoon to peel it apart.This will separate the rice grains and cool it faster., just cool enough not to feel hot to the touch and probably close to body temperature!

2. Prepare about 70g of cold boiled water prepared in advance, pour 2g of distiller's yeast powder into the water , stir well.In this step, if you want to produce more wine, just add a little more water.I made it a little dry.

Then put the rice into a basin, preferably stainless steel or glass, which is the healthiest , while pouring water, use chopsticks to stir evenly.Press the evenly stirred rice with your hands.It is best to wear disposable gloves for clean and hygienic hands, and then dig a hole in the middle to make it easier to see the wine.Then sprinkle about 1g of distiller’s yeast powder on the surface of the rice, which can speed up the surface fermentation

Note that in winter, you can wrap the outside of the pot with some cloth and put two thermos bottles inside.Remember to change the hot water frequently! This will speed up the fermentation and prevent the temperature from not reaching it!

6. After two or three days, open the lid and smell the aroma of wine, and see if there is wine seeping out of the hole.It's done.You can scoop some out and taste it, or you can keep it in the refrigerator and use it to make rice wine soup!

7. Add red dates and wolfberry, add a little sugar, suitable for all ages, nutritious tastes good!
