Ingredients
Pork belly ( 500g ) | Small potatoes ( 8-10 ) |
Dark soy sauce ( 1 spoon ) | Light soy sauce ( 2 spoons ) |
Octagonal ( 2 pieces ) | Geranium leaves ( 2 pieces ) |
Cinnamon ( 1 small piece ) | Rock sugar (appropriate amount) |
Salt ( 1 tsp ) | Cooking wine ( 1 tsp ) |
Onion, ginger and garlic ( appropriate amount ) |
How to make braised pork

1. Wash the pork belly and cut into pieces.

2. Wash the small potatoes and set aside.

3. Slice the ginger, peel the garlic, and beat the green onions into sections.

4. Add an appropriate amount of water to the pot, add the pork belly and blanch the water.

5. Remove the blanched meat, wash it with warm water and drain.

6. Heat oil in the pot, add ginger, garlic, cinnamon, star anise, bay leaves and stir until fragrant.

7. Add pork belly and fry for one minute.

8.Add dark soy sauce, light soy sauce and cooking wine and stir-fry evenly.

9.Add water that has not covered the ingredients.

10.Put in the small potatoes.

11. Add the green onion segments and rock sugar and bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to low heat and simmer for 40 minutes.

12. After 20 minutes, add appropriate amount of salt and continue cooking.

13. When the time is up, turn on the fire to collect the juice.
