Ingredients
Minced meat ( 200g ) | Glutinous rice ( Appropriate amount ) |
Horse hoof ( 5 pieces ) | Cooking wine ( appropriate amount ) |
Salt (appropriate amount) | White pepper ( Adequate amount ) |
Ginger powder (appropriate amount) | Wolfberry ( a few grains ) |
Egg white ( 1 piece ) |
How to make pearl meatballs

1.Wash the glutinous rice and soak it for more than two hours.

2. Wash the water chestnuts and cut into pieces.

3. Add salt, cooking wine, egg white, white pepper and ginger powder to the minced meat and mix well.

4. Squeeze out the water from the minced water chestnuts and add to the minced meat.

5. Stir in one direction until smooth.

6.Take a disc and apply a thin layer of oil on it to prevent adhesion.

7. Squeeze the minced meat into small balls and roll them on the drained glutinous rice.Let it adhere to the glutinous rice evenly.

8. and then place it into the disk.

9.Put it into a boiling steamer and steam over high heat for about 20 minutes.(The specific time depends on the size of the meatballs)

Tips
Do not add light soy sauce to the minced meat as it will affect the color.Just add a little more salt to taste.
