How to make mushroom and glutinous rice pearl balls

1.Soak the glutinous rice one day in advance (I soaked it for 20 hours)

2.Shitake mushrooms (dried mushrooms are better and more fragrant, I use fresh ones), wash and chop into small cubes and set aside

3.Wash and mince the pork belly

4.Put the minced meat, diced mushrooms and half of the soaked glutinous rice (50g) into a bowl and add an appropriate amount of minced ginger, Stir chopped green onion, pepper and salt with chopsticks until smooth

5.Make small ones with your hands Put the round balls into the soaked glutinous rice (the other half is 50 grams).Roll and wrap a layer of glutinous rice and carefully put it into the steamer.Place an appropriate amount of shredded carrots on top of the balls

6. After the steamer is boiled over high heat, turn to medium heat and wait for 30 minutes before steaming

7. Finally, put it on the plate and garnish it with shredded green onions and it’s done! Friends, do you think it looks beautiful?
Tips
1.The glutinous rice must be soaked in advance, otherwise it will not be cooked properly; 2.When steaming, use a gauze pad to place it under the small balls to prevent the water vapor from getting wet and affecting the appearance.
