Ingredients
Northern Tofu ( 400g ) | Green pepper ( 1 ) |
| Dried chili pepper ( several ) | Pixian Doubanjiang ( 1 teaspoon ) |
White sugar ( 1 large spoon ) | Oyster sauce ( 1 teaspoon ) |
Light soy sauce ( 1 teaspoon ) | Green onions ( 10g ) |
| Onions ( 1/2 ) |
How to make homemade tofu

1.Prepare ingredients.

2. Cut the green pepper and onion into diamond-shaped pieces respectively, cut the dried pepper into small sections, and cut the green onion into finely chopped pieces.

3. First cut the northern tofu into slightly thick slices.

4. Then cut diagonally into thick triangular slices.

5.The cut tofu is coated with a thin layer of dry starch.

6. Dip the starch into the pan and fry until golden brown.

7. Heat an appropriate amount of oil in a pot, add dried chili peppers and chopped green onion and saute until fragrant.

8. Add Pixian bean paste and stir-fry until red oil is produced.

9. Add the fried tofu and stir-fry briefly.

10. Add bone broth to be the same as tofu (white water is ok without bone broth).

11. Bring to a boil over high heat and add a teaspoon of light soy sauce, sugar and oyster sauce.

12. Reduce heat and simmer for a few minutes.

13. Simmer until the soup thickens, add the chopped onions and green peppers and stir-fry quickly.

14. Stir-fry until the green peppers and onions are raw, then turn off the heat and serve.
