Ingredients

How to make boiled fish

1.Prepare the ingredients in the picture.Wash Chinese cabbage, red pepper, green onion, dried chili pepper, ginger, garlic, and Sichuan peppercorns.

2. Appropriate amount of herring slices.

3. Cut the ginger and garlic into cubes, cut the red pepper into knots, and cut the green onions into inch-long sections.

4.Add corn starch, a little ginger, garlic, pepper and cooking wine to the fish fillets ,Salt.

5. Mix well and marinate for half an hour.

6.Cut the Chinese cabbage into small pieces.

7. Boil the water in the pot and blanch the Chinese cabbage.

8. Remove the dry water and place it in a larger bowl.

9. Pour oil into the pot and heat it up, add Sichuan peppercorns and dried chili peppers and saute until fragrant.

10. After sauteing, take out half of the dried chili peppers and Sichuan peppercorns and set aside.

11. Leave half of the peppercorns and dried chili peppers in the pot.

12.Add red pepper, ginger and garlic and stir-fry until fragrant.

13.Add bean paste and chili noodles.

14. Fry the red oil over low heat.

15. Pour in appropriate amount of water (boiling water) and bring to a boil, add a little salt.

16.Add the fish fillets.

17. After the soup boils, cook for 2 minutes.

18. After cooking, pour it into the bowl of Chinese cabbage.

19. Spread the fried dried chili and Sichuan peppercorns on the fish.

20. Heat a little hot oil in the pot.

21.Pour on top of the peppers.

22.Add green onion knots and serve immediately.
Tips
1.Fish fillets are easy to cook.Add the fish fillets and bring to a boil, then cook for another 2 minutes.The fish fillets will turn from tender to old if cooked for a long time.2.You don’t need to add chili powder if you feel it’s too spicy.3.The bean paste must be stir-fried over low heat until thickened, so that the soup will be bright red in color.4.You can add your own favorite side dishes.5.After the boiled fish is ready, you can add coriander or green onions according to your personal taste.(It can also be made delicious with larger fish such as grass carp and black fish).
