Ingredients
Red date puree ( 90g ) | Low-gluten flour ( 85 grams ) |
Eggs ( 5 ) | Brown sugar ( 50g ) |
Oil ( 50g ) | Milk ( 60g ) |
Rum ( 2-3 drops ) | Baking powder ( 1g ) |
How to make walnut and red date cake

1. Wash and soak the pitted red dates for 2 hours.Soak until soft, then cover with plastic wrap and place in the microwave on high heat for 2 minutes.Use a food processor to blend the dates into puree and let cool for later use

2.Prepare the ingredients, date paste, eggs, cake flour, brown sugar, milk, oil, and rum
3.Separate the eggs into a clean basin, add 2-3 drops of rum to the egg whites

4.Use the egg beater at high speed to beat into large bubbles, add brown sugar in batches

5.Continue to beat until the foam becomes smaller and thicker, add brown sugar for the second time

6.Add the remaining brown sugar until it is in a fluid state

7.The beaten egg whites have clear lines.The egg can be pulled up with a small curved hook
