Corn flour ( 100g ) | Hot water ( 90g ) |
White flour ( 70g ) | Warm water ( 150g ) |
Yeast ( 2 grams ) | Sugar ( 1 spoon ) |
How to make fried tortillas

1.Put the cornmeal into the basin.

2. Pour hot water in circles and use chopsticks to stir into lumps.

3.Put in white flour and sugar.

4. Mix together.

5. Dissolve the yeast with warm water, pour it into a basin and stir until it is even and granular.Thick batter.

6. Cover with plastic wrap and let ferment in a warm place until honeycomb eyes appear on it.

7. Brush the pan with an appropriate amount of oil over low heat, use a rice spoon to scoop a spoonful of batter into the pan., like an omelette.

8.After frying one side, turn it over and fry the other side.

9. Fry until both sides are browned.

10.Plate and serve.
Tips
The mixed batter will take about two hours to form a honeycomb shape when placed in a warm place.This time will vary depending on the temperature.You can add more or no sugar according to your preference.I fried eight tortillas (not too big) with these ingredients.You can control the size of the tortillas yourself.
