Ingredients
Mustard ( 2 pounds ) | Pork ( 3 taels ) |
Shiitake mushrooms ( 1 piece ) | Ginger ( a little ) |
Garlic ( 3 capsules ) | Green onions ( a little ) |
Carrot ( a little ) | Lard ( 1 teaspoon ) |
Salt ( 1 teaspoon ) | Chicken essence ( 1.5 teaspoons ) |
MSG ( a little ) | Fresh clam juice ( a little ) |
Sesame oil ( a little ) |
How to make mustard fried rice (February 2 special)

1.First wash the mustard greens and soak them in water

2. Heat the water in the pot until it is boiling hot, put in the mustard greens, blanch them until they are cooked and soft, drain them and chop them into pieces

3. Chop green onion, ginger and garlic; cut pork into small cubes and set aside

4.Preheat the pot and add 1 tablespoon of lard to burn
5.Pour in chopped green onion and stir-fry pork

6. Stir-fry the pork until it changes color

7.Add in the chopped mushrooms, carrots, ginger, garlic, and mustard and stir-fry, then add some salt and chicken essence and continue stir-frying

8. Finally, pour the cooked rice into the pot and stir-fry until loose, then add a few drops of fresh clam juice, sesame oil and stir-fry until the rice turns color, and sprinkle some MSG when putting it in the pot.Just add freshness and it’s ready to serve
Tips
Mustard greens must be boiled in water.You can add a few drops of cooking oil so that the vegetables will not turn black.
You don’t need to put lard, you can just put cooking oil.I personally prefer lard
