Plain flour ( 260g ) | Dry active yeast ( 5g ) |
Bean dregs ( 60g ) | Water ( appropriate amount ) |
White sugar ( appropriate amount ) | Salt ( a little ) |
How to make steamed buns

1.Put flour, yeast, salt and sugar in a larger container.

2.Add bean dregs and a little warm water and stir into floc.

3.Knead into a smooth dough.Cover with plastic wrap and let ferment in a warm place.

4. Ferment until 2.5 times in size.Use your finger to poke the dough and it will not rebound.

5. Take out the dough and deflate it into a strip.

6.Cut into evenly sized pieces.

7. Then make it into a round steamed bun shape.(I didn’t make it pretty)

8. Place on the oiled pot drawer for the second time Ferment for 15 minutes.

9.Become fat!

10. Steam the cold water over high heat for 5 minutes, then turn to low heat and steam for 10 minutes.Turn off the heat and simmer for another 3 minutes.

11. Move the lid quickly to avoid water dripping onto the steamed buns.

12. Eat while it’s hot! It’s so fragrant!
Tips
Bean okara itself has moisture, so when adding water, it depends on the situation.If the dough accidentally gets wet, add more flour.The sugar can be determined according to your preference.
