Glutinous rice (a small bowl) | Black sesame seeds ( 100g ) |
Soft white sugar ( 45g ) |
How to make black sesame rice balls

1. Prepare all ingredients

2. After washing the glutinous rice, add cooking water so that half of your fingers are covered with water.Do not cook the rice too wet.Soak for 30 minutes until cooked, simmer for 20 minutes and set aside.

3. Fry the black sesame seeds and allow to cool, then add sugar and beat with a mixer until smooth and set aside.

4. Take out the cooked glutinous rice and pound it for later use.

5.When the glutinous rice is warm, put on disposable gloves and pinch the rice into small pieces.Shape into a ball, roll in beaten black sesame seeds, and place on a plate.

6.The fragrant sesame rice balls are ready.
Tips
Don't add too much water when cooking glutinous rice.It's best to cook it neither dry nor wet.When frying sesame seeds, use low heat.High heat will make them mushy and bitter.
