1.Wash and prepare the main ingredients

2.Cut the lotus roots, potatoes, carrots and onions into small pieces and set aside

3. Slice the mushrooms and cut the green vegetables into small sections and set aside

4. Fill half a pot of water into a casserole, add onion, ginger, star anise, cinnamon and bay leaves, salt, pepper and lard, bring to a boil over high heat
