Golden Pomfret ( 700g ) | Scallions ( 3 roots ) |
Ginger ( Half a piece ) | Parsley seedlings ( A few roots ) |
Oil ( 5 grams ) | Salt ( 5 grams ) |
Steamed fish with soy sauce ( 3 spoons ) | Cooking wine ( 2 spoons ) |
How to make steamed golden pomfret

1.Clean the golden pomfret, pour water and set aside.

2. Pickled fish: sprinkle with salt and cooking wine and spread evenly.Put green onion and ginger in the belly of the fish, put shredded ginger on the back of the fish, and marinate for 5-10 minutes.

3.Put the marinated fish into the steamer and steam over high heat for 10-12 minutes.

4. After steaming, simmer for 5 minutes.Do not open the pot to avoid fishy smell.

5. Prepare the steamed fish soy sauce.

6. Pour out the soup from the steamed fish plate and pour the steamed fish soy sauce over it , sprinkle with shredded onion, ginger, and parsley sprouts.

7. Heat oil in a pot, bring to a boil and set aside.

8. Pour the boiled oil on the green onion and ginger shreds on the fish and serve..

Tips
When the fish is steamed, be sure not to take it out yet.Simmering for five minutes will give the best effect.Boiling the fish quickly will make it smell fishy.This is an important tip!
