Ingredients
Pickled pepper and lotus root strips ( Half bag ) | |
Sansho (appropriate amount ) | White sugar ( A little ) |
Cinnamon ( A small stick ) | Eight anise ( 1~2 pieces ) |
Vinegar ( a little ) | Black pepper ( a little ) |
Ginger slices ( appropriate amount ) | Light soy sauce ( appropriate amount ) |
Garlic ( 5 cloves ) | Dried red chili pepper ( 2~3 pieces ) |
Oil ( appropriate amount ) |
Recipe of pickled lotus root and chicken gizzards with sansho pepper

1. Prepare the main ingredients: soaked lotus root strips and chicken gizzards.

2. Wash the chicken gizzards, cut them into thin slices and put them in a bowl.Soak them in water for half an hour., remove blood water.

3. Rinse the chicken gizzards and put them in a sieve to drain the water.

4. Prepare the ingredients as shown in the picture.

5. Heat the pan, put in the oil, add the ingredients except the lotus root strips and saute until fragrant.

6.Add in chicken gizzards and stir-fry until they change color, slowly add vinegar and light soy sauce , white sugar, black pepper...

7. When the chicken gizzards are almost mature, add the lotus roots.Continue to stir-fry for a while, then season with salt and serve.

Tips
If there are no bagged pickled lotus root strips, it will be just as delicious if you use fresh lotus root strips and add more pickled peppers.Do not soak the cut chicken gizzards in water.You can just boil them in hot water to remove the blood foam.
