Pork belly ( 8 taels ) | Wild rice root ( 2 roots ) |
Salt ( A little ) | Dark soy sauce ( 1 spoon ) |
Light soy sauce ( 2 spoons ) | White sugar ( 2 spoons ) |
Cooking wine ( 2 spoons ) |
How to make wild rice braised pork (oil-free version)

1.Ingredients: pork belly and wild rice 
2. Cut the pork belly into four squares.

3.Put it into a pot without water and oil and stir-fry over low heat.

4. Stir-fry until brown.

5.Put out the pork belly and save the lard.(This lard is a bit too much, so I poured out half of it and left half)

6.Add two tablespoons of sugar.

7. Boil caramel color over low heat.

8.Pour in the pork belly and stir-fry evenly.

9.Add boiling water to cover the pork belly.

10.Add dark soy sauce, light soy sauce, cooking wine, and simmer over low heat 40+ minutes.

11. Cut the wild rice into pieces with a hob.

12.This is what it looks like after 40 minutes.Add a small amount of salt to taste (I don’t need to add salt when I make this, it depends on personal taste)

13.Pour in the wild rice and simmer for 3 minutes.

14. Collect the juice and remove from the pot.

15.A delicious wild rice braised pork is ready.It tastes amazing.
Tips
The pork belly must be stir-fried to produce oil, so that the braised pork will be fat but not greasy.
