Pig's trotters: replenishing qi

Ingredients
Green onions (appropriate amount) | |

Beer ( 150ml ) | Rock sugar ( a small amount ) |
Cooking oil ( one spoonful ) | Five-spice powder ( appropriate amount ) |
Cooking wine (appropriate amount) |
How to make braised pig's trotters

1. Clean up the pig trotters Soak in cold water for half a day, changing the water twice in between.Cut it in the middle and run it under cold water to remove any blood foam.

2. Prepare the auxiliary ingredients: onion, ginger, garlic, star anise and bay leaves.

3.Put the pig's trotters that have been boiled out of the blood into cold water and pass them through.

4.Put a spoonful of cooking oil and a small amount of rock sugar in the pot (the rock sugar I use is relatively small) , add the pig's trotters when the rock sugar turns yellow.

5.Add the onion, ginger, garlic, star anise leaves, and a small amount of allspice powder.(Zanthoxylum bungeanum or Sanxiang are both acceptable)

6. Stir-fry for two minutes and add cooking wine.Dark soy sauce, light soy sauce.

7.Add 150 ml (half a can) of beer.

8. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to low heat and simmer for one hour.

9. During the cooking process, pour the soup on the pig's trotters to get the flavor faster.

10. Once cooked, let it cool and it will taste better!
