Potatoes ( Two ) | Salt ( 1 spoon span> ) |
Cornstarch ( appropriate amount ) | Edible oil ( 1000g ) |
How to make French fries

1.Peel two potatoes and cut into strips.

2. Soak the potato strips in water for 5 minutes and rinse away the excess starch.

3. Boil water in a pot.After the water boils, blanch the washed potato strips for 1 minute.Then rinse with cold water and drain.

4. Put 1 spoon of salt and appropriate amount of cornstarch into the drained potato strips and mix well.

5. Add 1000g cooking oil to the pot and heat it up, put the potato strips evenly into the oil pot , fry until golden brown, remove and drain, then put on a plate.

6.The fried potato chips are ready to eat!
Tips
The potato chips fried over high heat have a nice color and do not absorb oil.The fried potato strips will become crispier if you let them cool before eating!
