How to make Northeastern pancakes

1.Put the cornmeal in a basin, I added a little flour in it, you don’t need to add it

2.Boil the water, pour it into a basin with cornmeal, blanch the cornmeal, let it cool and set aside

3.Put the flour, sugar and yeast into the basin where the cornmeal was placed, and stir evenly

4.Put an appropriate amount of warm water into the dough, cover with plastic wrap and ferment

5. Ferment to Just double the size

6.Put the air out of the dough and make it into a diamond shape., heat the pot, add an appropriate amount of oil, not too much, otherwise it will taste greasy, put the ingredients in the pot and slowly fry over medium heat until golden brown

7.Put an appropriate amount of hot water into the pot, cook for ten minutes on low heat, and the pancake will be ready after the water dries up

8.Looks good

9.Today I use another method, that is steaming

10.After the water is boiled Steam over medium heat for twenty minutes. This method is more convenient than cooking it in boiling water in a pot

11.Plate and ready to eat
Tips
I tried frying both sides and it tasted great
