How to make homemade sesame cakes

1. First make the sesame seed filling: put the beef into a container, add cooking wine, salt and soy sauce , minced onion and ginger, five-spice powder, oil, lard and stir clockwise evenly.

2.Cut half of the onion and cut into small pieces.

3.Put in the beef filling, add a few drops of sesame oil and mix well.Place in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.

4. Make the oil crust: 250 grams of flour, 60 grams of lard, weigh into the container.

5. Add 125 grams of warm water and knead into a dough and let it rest for 20 minutes.

6. Make the pastry: 50 grams of flour, 30 grams of lard, weigh into a bowl.

7. Add allspice powder and salt, stir with chopsticks until it becomes crispy.

8. Roll out the dough and put the pastry in the middle.

9. Wrap the pastry like a bun.

10. Roll out the dough into a thin crust with the edge facing down and brush it with a layer of lard.

11. Roll up from bottom to top.

12. Divide into 8 equal parts.

13.Pinch the two ends, fold toward the middle, and roll into a circle.

14.Take a piece of dough and roll it into a circle.

15.Put beef filling in the middle.

16.Tighten the bottom.

17. Roll out the cake embryo and place it on the baking tray, brush with egg wash.

18.Sprinkle with black sesame seeds.Preheat the oven to 220°C.

19. Place in the preheated oven and bake in the middle rack at 220℃ for 20 minutes.

20. After taking it out of the oven, place it on a wire rack to cool.

Tips
Observe the coloring of the sesame biscuits during the baking process.If the color is too deep in the last 5 minutes, turn off the heat.
