How to make brown sugar steamed buns

1. Freshly baked steamed buns.

2. Dissolve brown sugar with boiling water and cool to hand temperature.

3.Pour the flour into the container, put the salt next to it and put the yeast in the middle.

4. Slowly pour brown sugar water cooled to 35 degrees into the flour and stir with chopsticks.Flocculated with no obvious dry powder.

5. Knead until smooth dough.

6. Place in a warm place to ferment until doubled in size.

7. There is cellular tissue.

8.Sprinkle an appropriate amount of dry powder on the kneading pad to deflate the dough.Knead for a while and the steamed buns will become smoother.

9. Roll out the dough and cut off the uneven edges. If you can roll it well, ignore this step.I can’t roll it out well every time)

10. Roll up and apply a little water on the dough.

11.Cut into small pieces.

12. I also rubbed a few round ones, and be sure to sprinkle dry powder on the mat to prevent sticking.

13.Put in the steamer.

14. Proof until the dough is obviously much larger and becomes soft to the touch when picked up.very light.

15. Steam in cold water for about fifteen minutes.Bring the water to a boil over high heat and then turn to medium heat to steam. If the steamed buns are larger, steam them for five more minutes.

16.Turn off the heat and do not open the lid immediately, and simmer for another 3 minutes.
Tips
The melted brown sugar water must be cooled to hand temperature. If it is too hot, the yeast will be burned to death. Then I won’t be able to get going!
