1.The steaming time depends on the size of the buns, the fillings, and the power of the steamer.If you are not sure, just steam for a few more minutes, but it is not necessarily that the longer the better.
2.If it is a bamboo steamer and pot lid, it will be better if it is cooked more.However, iron or glass pot lids cannot be heated for too long, otherwise the steam will drip down and burn the pastry to death.
