How to make purple sweet potato cake
1. Wash the purple sweet potato and steam it in a pot.Crush the purple sweet potato with a spoon and mix it with milk into a paste in a blender.( If you don’t have a mixer, you can wrap it in a plastic bag and grind it into a puree with a rolling pin), add sugar and mix well.

2. Add yeast powder to the purple sweet potato paste and stir evenly.

3.Sift in flour and mix evenly to form a dough.

4.Pour the dough into an 8-inch cake mold, put a little water on the spatula to smooth the surface.Ferment at room temperature until doubled in size.

5. After fermentation, add red dates and raisins on the dough.Pour cold water into a pot, bring to a boil over high heat, turn to medium heat and steam for 25 minutes, turn off the heat and simmer for five minutes before taking it out.

6.Cut into pieces after cooling.
