Ingredients
Plain flour (cake) ( 500g ) | Plain flour (pastry) ( 125g ) |
Warm water ( 330g ) | Yeast ( 3g ) |
Lard ( 50g ) | Corn oil ( 2 grams ) |
Salt ( 2 grams ) |
How to make dough cakes

1. Mix flour, yeast and warm water.

2.Stir into cotton wool.

3.Knead into dough and perform the first fermentation.

4.Weigh the flour, lard, and salt.

5. Knead into pastry.

6. The fermentation will be completed in about thirty minutes.

7.Knead evenly, release the air inside the dough, and let it rest for ten minutes.

8. Roll out the dough.

9.Crush the pastry and spread evenly over the dough.

10.Sprinkle a little corn oil and roll up from one side.

11. Divide into even small segments.

12.Pinch both ends tightly and roll out thinly.

13. Roll everything out and cover with plastic wrap for secondary fermentation.

14. The fermentation will be completed in about 20 minutes.Preheat the electric baking pan and sear it over high heat.

15.Plate and serve.
Tips
The dough for making cakes needs to be softer.Flour absorbs different amounts of water.Water should be added appropriately.Using puff pastry has a better layering effect than simply using oil.
