How to make sesame pumpkin cake

1.Wash the pumpkin, peel it and steam it in a pot for about fifteen minutes.Don’t cut it into too big pieces, otherwise it will take a long time to steam.Use chopsticks to test it.If it is soft when inserted, it will be cooked.

2. Add sugar to the steamed pumpkin and mix it evenly with a spoon or cooking stick. There is still sugar in it.If you like it sweeter, add more; if you don't like it too sweet, add less.

3. Add glutinous rice flour and flour, the ratio is 3:1, there is no need to add water here.Because there will be water in the pumpkin, then stir it into a dough, cover it with plastic wrap and let it rest for twenty minutes

4.Knead the pumpkin dough into a long shape.

5. Divide the glutinous rice balls into small portions of the same size.

6. Knead the small amount into flat round cakes.

7. Stick black sesame seeds on both sides of the dough (the sesame seeds stuck here are raw) p>

8.Put a little oil in a pan or non-stick pan

9.After the oil is hot, put the sesame-glued pumpkin cakes one by one

10. Fry over low heat for two minutes, turning over, until both sides are completely brown and cooked.

11. Use absorbent paper to absorb excess oil after frying. There is not much oil in the pot itself.I forgot to take pictures at this step, put it on the plate.
