How to make Purple Sweet Potato Butterfly Steamed Buns

1. Mix the flour with yeast powder and ferment at room temperature for one hour.

2. Steam the purple sweet potatoes.

3.Peel off the skin and press it into puree with a spoon.

4.Take half of the fermented flour and mix it with purple sweet potato puree.

5.Knead repeatedly until even.

6. Let it sit for another twenty minutes.

7. Roll the purple sweet potato dough into thin slices.

8. Then roll the white flour into thin slices.

9. Stack two dough pieces of different colors together.

10.Roll up.

11.Cut into three centimeter thick sections.Place the two sections opposite each other and gently pinch them in the middle with chopsticks.

12. Steam for twenty minutes.

13. Remove from pot and plate.
Tips
The general population can eat it, but those with dampness blocking the spleen and stomach, qi stagnation and food accumulation should eat with caution.
Eating too much purple sweet potato may cause flatulence and make it difficult to digest, so don’t eat too much at one time.
Before steaming over high heat, it will be better to wake up for 20 minutes a second time.
