How to make homemade red bean paste

1. Wash and soak the red beans.(Soaking in advance will make it easy to cook, so you don’t have to soak it if you don’t have time)

2.Put the soaked red beans Pour into the pressure cooker pot.

3.Add appropriate amount of water according to the degree of soaking of red beans.(If the soaking time is long, just pour in water that has not covered the red beans, if the soaking time is short, just add a little more water)

4.Close the lid, turn on the power and select the "Beans and Tendons" function to start cooking.(My Supor electric pressure cooker does not have a time display, and when the time to set the program is up, it will automatically reduce the pressure and enter the heat preservation state)

5.Press the cooked red beans with a spoon. If they are easily crushed, it means they are cooked. If one program is not cooked, you can cook another program)

6.Pour the cooked red beans into the bread bucket, and add brown sugar and butter.

7. Start the bread machine "Jam" program, my home is an ACA bread machine, select 17 as jam Program, the default duration of a program is 1 hour and 5 minutes.(I forgot to take a photo at first and took it 2 minutes later, so the time above shows 1:03)

8.After one program ends, it feels a little wet and a little grainy, so you need to start another program.(What to do after starting!)

9.After the two procedures are completed, make the bean paste alright. The prepared red bean paste is neither dry nor wet, just right.

10. Finished product picture.
Tips
It’s best to soak red beans one night in advance, as they tend to get rotten when cooked.I didn't soak the red beans beforehand so I started the jam process twice.Don't make too much at one time. It's best to make as much as you can eat.If you make too much, store it in the refrigerator.Take it out and defrost it before using it next time.Butter can be replaced with other cooking oils or not.
