1. Both ends of the lotus root should be airtight.Wash the lotus root first, peel it, and cut a small section on the top of the lotus root to use as a cover.Soak the glutinous rice in water in advance (I soaked it for a long time).

2. Cut the red dates in half, which will make it more delicious.

3. Soak the lotus root in white vinegar to remove the mud in the lotus root eyes.

4.After soaking the lotus roots, stuff the glutinous rice directly into the lotus roots

5. Use chopsticks to poke the glutinous rice to the bottom to make the glutinous rice more solid, otherwise there will be an empty space in the middle of the steamed glutinous rice.

6.After stuffing, put the previously reserved lid on the lotus root and secure it with toothpicks.

7.Put water in the pot (must be able to cover the lotus root), add brown sugar, white sugar, red dates, and lotus root..

8.Turn on high heat, use chopsticks to stir at the bottom of the pot to dissolve the sugar, then boil over medium heat for 45 seconds Minutes, turn the lotus root over in the middle.

9. When the lotus roots are ripe, reduce to low heat and simmer slowly. If the soup is too juicy, you can soak the lotus root in sugar juice overnight to make it more delicious!

10.Finally, heat the lotus roots to remove the juice and let the lotus roots cool naturally.

11. Just cut the lotus roots and put them on the plate!
